Exams and Tests

Several self-reports, spousal reports, and parent report questionnaires are available for the assessment of adults with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). However, the diagnostic power of these tests is still being determined, so unlike childhood ADHD, adult ADHD is diagnosed from qualitative data more than from quantitative tests.
