How does Agrimony work?

Agrimony contains chemicals called tannins, which are thought to help conditions such as diarrhea.

Are there safety concerns?

Agrimony seems to be safe for most adults when used short-term. Agrimony can make some people's skin extra sensitive to sunlight and more likely to burn.

Do not take agrimony if:
  • You are pregnant or breast-feeding.
  • You are scheduled for surgery in the next two weeks.
