I am 50 and just came home from having a brain aneurysm. I was med vac rushed to the hospital and for the next few days I didn't know what happened. I had my attack on August 11, 2009 and I stayed in the hospital for 16 days. I am blessed the only thing is I have the shakes in my hands and I now take medication for this. I will have a checkup on the 28th of Sept. and find out what my life long status will be, but for now everything is going well.

I Think I experienced two very bad dizzy spells one about a week before the rupture and another very close to it. I was doing some heavy lifting both times. I was a heavy smoker and like my fair share of alcohol a live hard play hard type of guy I now regret this, but that is the way it is. I experienced very deep red bloodshot eyes to the point of having to squint to see properly. I have disturbed sleep, but not always, there was nothing to tell me that there was something serious in the post.
