Angle Recession Glaucoma PrognosisAs with most types of glaucoma, angle recession glaucoma can cause progressive vision loss and eventually blindness. The risk of vision loss depends on many factors, particularly the timeliness of the initial diagnosis and the treatment of the disorder. The long-term visual outcome of eyes with chronic (long-standing) angle recession glaucoma is not known.
