I am female aged 77. Two weeks ago I fell, wrenching my ankle inwards. I felt initial pain but after a few minutes was able to use the foot. It was slightly swollen and tender at first. I suspected a sprain. I then experienced discomfort, verging on pain, plus swelling, intermittently for about 10 days, with periods of normalcy in between. I consulted a doctor on about the 14th day, was x-rayed and diagnosed with avulsion fracture.

I'm 16 yrs old. I am practicing football and basketball. I was playing on my High School summer basketball team. I jumped up and came down on my teammate's leg. He is okay and I couldn't walk. They put ice on it immediately the next day I went to see our orthopedic team doctor. He x-rayed it and said I had a small fracture and he put a boot on me. I am a QB on the football team. We are going to camp July 11th. Must Read Articles Related to Ankle Fracture
