My symptoms consist of fast paced heart rate, tightness of the chest, trouble breathing, chest pain, sweating and numbness of my left arm. After the "episode," I feel so drained and tired.

My A-fib symptoms involved my heart going in and out of rhythm.

I have AF every day. It makes me very tired with no energy. I have a pacemaker which was inserted to stop my heart pausing, but the AF is making me short of breath, and if I exert myself it makes it worse.

My symptoms are palpitations with dizziness and lightheadedness. I also have a rapid heart rate with these episodes.

I have had continual artrial fibrillation for a year now. At times it is verging on painful. The treadmill shows it only returns to normal while exercising. Sitting and sleeping is uncomfortable. I have a very high blood pressure. My medication is not working very well any more. I get very tired and during bad attacks my eyesight becomes limited.

Since my 3 way bypass in 2008 I have had 3 episodes of A-Fib requiring hospitalization. These episodes are similar to the feeling I get with low blood sugar. I become very weak and have difficulty standing or walking. In the hospital I am given an IV and told I am de-hydrated. I do not drink, so I don't know what brings on the de-hydration. My blood pressure medication was increased and I was put back on blood thinner after the last episode. Test showed no recurring blockage and no heart attack.

I have had bouts of A-fib since I was a child, probably about 10 years old. The cause was likely amphetamine diet pills that were prescribed to me back then as onset happened after taking them for an extended period and they used to make my heart pound tremendously. I am now 57. Over the years I have noticed that with weight gain the A-fib became much more of a problem. However anytime I have lost weight down to a more healthful level and exercised daily, kept salt intake below 1000 mg. and drink at least 2 Cups low sodium V-8, or low sodium tomato juice along with eating other potassium rich foods such as potato or banana etc. this helps keep blood pressure low enough that the A-fib does not kick in so easily.

My episodes of A-fib are 'announced' initially by loud ringing in the ears, and loss of peripheral vision followed by seconds of total blindness.

I have an A-Fib episode approx. every 10 days or so. The worst part of this is that I have a breathing problem. I have tried several meds. But now, I cannot tolerate the higher dosages and lower dosages don't help much.

I was diagnosed with Afib about 6 years ago (at 59); however, in retrospect, I probably have had it for most of my life. Sometimes I will get the heart pounding and flutter but are times when I just feel dizzy and or exhausted. Exercise definitely works in those instances. As I get older, I am having the Afib much more often.

I have a feeling like my heart is going slow like a kick start there is no pain. I have no fatigue or shortness of breath. I feel it at night when I am at rest rest, I've been taking a 1/4 of a zanax to calm down at bed time, I seem to be under a lot of stress.
