I tested myself for routine urine, which showed RBC and blood. I went to my family doctor, who prescribed me strong antibiotics for UTI. after 10 days of treatment I again did the urine test, which was clear now without any blood.

After every urine test I have had, it showed traces of blood in urine not visible to naked eye. I have no pain anywhere, no history of kidney problems or other symptoms. A gynecologist in Malaysia told me that some of her clients in menopause have showed blood in urine, but it was not a problem. I am only 50, but I started menopause when I was 40 and have been on HRT since then. My family doctor is now concerning about it and wants me to search for a specialist, but I am not sure I will do that since I have no other symptoms.

I noticed that my urine was a cola color, and I drink alot of coke. I thought I was deyhdrated, so I started drinking more water. This solved the problem, but when I started with coke again it came back. So on my regular thyroid blood draw. I asked for my urine to be checked. It showed blood. I found out I have cancer after being rushed through tests. I remember long ago I would say 2005 the doctor told me I had blood in my urine and put me on a antibotic then I needed to come back for a recheck and everything was said to be fine. I was never told again about having blood in my urine from my doctor. I have since found out from a nurse that I have had it ever since then. I was shocked that I was never again told of this blood. Had I known, I would have insisted on further testing. I have a cancerous tumor that is invading 80 percent of my kidney. I dont know what my outcome will be. I just know, that if the doctor would have told me sooner maybe I would have had a option of a cure.

I am 94 years old and just discovered blood in my urine. However, I just read that this could be caused by having eaten red beets, which I did last night. So before rushing to the hospital (I am in Cozumel, Mexico until February), I'll wait and see if this clears up again.

I have been passing blood for about a year. I had a CT scan and urinalysis. I have no infection and no stones, though I have a history of kidney problems. I've seen urologist and then a nephrologist. However, I'm experiencing daily, severe low backache and periodic pain in my left kidney.

I am a senior in my low 80's (male ). On occasion I would notice upon arising in the morning that my white BVD's show a little stain of blood. This not a daily occurrence. My urologist told me that at my age a little blood is normal, though he insisted on giving me a cystcopy. He had do it twice cause after the first one I could not urinate. That was a year or so ago. Today, my doctor informed me after a recent urine test that they spotted some blood again. Prior to that test on another one about 6 months ago, they did not find any blood.

I first discovered blood in my urine morning four months ago. It happened once than had not reappeared until now but much different. Pain in my lower right side which lasted for two days. I saw my doctor on the third day and the pain had gone away. I was told to go to the hospital if blood was present. After the pain stopped I started urinating bright red blood for two days. On arriving to the hospital the triage nurse said it was kidney stones and the blood was normal. I am now off for testing.

Yesterday I thought I saw a small red blood clot in my urine. At first thought I was seeing things as I haven't had any pains. Watched closer the next couple of times to the restroom and each time a small rice sized clump of blood was present. Today there wasn't any sign of reoccurrence until this afternoon when there were two small red rice sized clumps in my urine. I am headed for the doctor tomorrow.

We are still working on it. I have had every test possible and my doctor says to lay off the Tylenol and drink lots of water. I have high blood pressure and I am on pills, we have controlled the blood pressure. No infections in bladder, or kidneys, no cancers. Therefore that leaves the kidneys. Were still discussing this. Age has a lot to do with it too.
