Men against Yeast Infections! I am a male so Many people are surprised when they find that I use a "female" medicine. The Yeast infection probably occurs mostly in men who have not been circumcised. Soap and water alone will not do the job. My preferred ointment is Vagisil wipes. Just clean the area carefully and apply Monistat when you get home. The itch is gone, also! What a relief!

I have been driving my Dermatologist crazy for over six months. He gave me over 6 different creams with no results. He finally prescribed Fuconalzole tablet. I take one once a week for 4 weeks. The first one seems to be working. I have a rash on my groin that itches like mad. I use a solution of Clorox and water to kill the itch. The rash is slowly going away. I told him it was the Vietnam Crud and it has appeared occasionally over the last 30 years. I hope he can kill it forever. This is not the first time I have been prescribed female medication.

Very simply, after being bombarded with these annoying symptoms, it became obvious that 2 main causes create this agony! Tight jeans and clothing and multiple partners. Eliminate those culprits and you can end up without being bothered for 25 years! I did it. It worked. Also, know which antibiotics to avoid and go for a lower strength, and eat yogurt while taking them. You'll never be haunted with this terribly itchy, irritating ailment again. Looser clothes, one partner, lower strength antibiotics and eat yogurt regularly. MAGIC!!!!!!! I loved not being bothered with that crap for 1/4 century!

This may not be true for everyone, but for my wife, it was the solution to years of trouble. I researched and found a very select few people who said that probiotics worked for them. The solution, for us, was YB Pearls from Enzymatic. The thing is they try to balance the bacteria, which is really what it's all about. Try taking it for two months and see if it helps you. I suspect why there are so few answers to this problem is that women have questions and ask the groups, but when they find the answer, they happily leave the forums without sharing their advice. I want to share my success with you because I know how frustrating it can be to continually search.

I had yeast infection under my breast for 6 years,it spread almost to my waist. I saw 3 skin doctor and nothing they prescribed worked. I finally went to one, he didn't even look at rash, told me what it was and gave me a prescription for Alcortrin A. It is expensive, but it works, I got rid of the infection all the way to my waist!! It flares up sometimes, I use the AlcortrinA for a couple of days and it clears it up.

Triderm cream will always fight it off, or Diflucan can get rid of it.

I'm currently undergoing treatment after having a persistent itch for the past 9 months. I hope it goes well. I'm on day 2 of the medication and I feel relieved already. I'd like to encourage others not to shy away from seeking treatment, and to take their dosage as prescribed to avoid reinfection.
