Cervicitis Treatment

For infectious causes of cervicitis such as gonorrhea and chlamydia, your health care provider will prescribe antibiotics. Depending on the cause, you may be given antiviral agents, such as acyclovir (Zovirax), to treat genital herpes.

If you are pregnant, an infectious disease specialist may help with your treatment.
