I have been getting chalazion's for the last 4 years and have discovered that they appear about 10 days after I stop exercising aerobically and start to drain as soon as I resume exercising (and disappear within 48 hours). I have not heard about anyone else who has had the same experience but it makes sense to me. My theory is that, in much the same way that a warm compress works, exercise raises the body's temperature and naturally clears the blockage. I can actually feel it start to drain the first time I work out and it will continue to drain for the rest of the night.

At first it felt like when a sty is coming and was a little painful. However, now after about 7 weeks it is not painful just a little unsightly.

Have had Chalazion on both eyes, one on lower lid and one on upper, I know they say they are generally not painful, however both I have had were extremely painful.

I had one on both upper eye lids, I had them both surgically removed and it honestly wasn't that bad, dot listen to people when they say it's the most painful thing ever because it really isn't.
