Cyclospora Infection Complications

Usually, there are few complications that occur with Cyclospora infections. However, such complications as relapsing illness, malabsorption, cholecystitis, and Reiter's syndrome (reactive arthritis) have been reported. In addition, severe diarrhea may help produce dehydration and electrolyte problems in patients.
