Dandelion

How does Dandelion work?

Dandelion contains chemicals that may increase urine production and decrease swelling (inflammation).

Are there safety concerns?

Dandelion seems to be safe for most people. It can cause allergic reactions when taken by mouth or applied to the skin of sensitive people.

Do not use dandelion if:
  • You are pregnant or breast-feeding.
  • You are allergic to other plants such as daisies or ragweed.
