Getting up from lying down at night is the worst. It leaves me feeling a bit lightheaded. I've never had any blood pressure problems, though.

I have suffering from dizziness since December. It came on suddenly with the floor and walls moving, sickness soon followed. This developed into a dizzy feeling, lightheadedness and feeling tipsy all the time. When I walked, it was like small earthquakes going off in my head, especially the left side. I feel drained of energy due to this. Initially, my thinking was very slow and had to concentrate very hard to listen to people. All tests have proved to be negative and normal. Consultant said, 'let's call it labyrinthitis', as they have ruled out BPV.

I am using Ventolin and it causes dizziness. I use it twice in the evening for allergy related respiratory irritation. It works for me but the side effect is that I get dizzy so much so that when rolling over in bed I feel dizzy.

I am an 83 year old lady and started having dizzy spells last year. My thighs tingled and I was so dizzy. I went to the hospital, and they found nothing wrong. I went the ENT doctor where they did an MRI and found nothing. I am having the dizzy spells more often now and have to keep my head looking straight ahead or it is worse. The doctors cannot find anything wrong. One suggested I have TMJ, but the dentist says no.

I was fine until about a week and a half ago. Now I am dizzy whenever I move my head too fast. It is pretty bad at times. I also constantly drip clear fluid from my left nostril, which I assumed was a recent allergy reaction. Two months ago I had to have a vein cauterized in my left nostril and the dripping has been happening since then. I am not taking any medicines that would cause dizziness except my blood pressure pill and my tests show a normal blood pressure. I am otherwise healthy except for some arthritis.

I am 82 and quite fit. I exercised in the gym yesterday felt OK but in the evening after dinner I suddenly felt dizzy and when I stood up my legs gave way. My pulse was OK at about 65. I lay down for 30 minutes before I could stand. This morning I feel OK. I had no pain, no numbness, no problems other than the dizziness. I experienced dizziness about 3 weeks ago but it passed after a few minutes.

I am a 71 year old female, I have dealt with motion sickness all my live, but that got a little better as I got older. But the last ten years I have been dealing with dizziness, nausea, off balance and lightheadedness. This lasts nine months out of the year, been to all sorts of specialists, the last a neurologist said it was silent migraines, been taking the meds, but still got the problem, don't know what else to do as I sit here so nauseated and worried. I cannot go to any stores, just stay at home is my life. All the doctors find all my MRI's and tests are ok, but there has to be something causing this.

I was working in retail, and last night everytime I bent down to do something when I came up I was so dizzy I thought I was going to pass out and land right on the floor. I only had one day off in the past 2 weeks due to short staff. I have high blood pressure and take meds for it.

I had a stroke six years ago, was in the hospital for a month, ischemic stroke. About three years ago and yesterday I had vertigo, if I close my eyes it stops until I open them again. Yesterday it lasted all evening. This morning it is gone.
