I have suffered episodes of dizziness for around 7 years, often triggered by sudden movement, loud noise, low level background noise, and viral infection such as colds. After numerous balance, audiology and MRI tests, a lumbar puncture finally revealed increased levels of antibodies to an unspecified virus which the neurologist stated must have caused some residual nerve damage. My symptoms, whilst unpleasant, are easier to bear as I know it is not caused by tumors, MS, or anything serious, but it can make day to day living very difficult. I have had to reduce my working hours as I know that tiredness exacerbates the symptoms. Related Reading: colds

I started getting dizzy last night after using the toilet. I was walking crooked as if drunk. I did not have the spinning feeling that others describe. My medical diagnosis include: diverticulitis, hypoglycemia, hypothyroid and celiac disease. I had just eaten a good meal so I knew it couldn't be my sugars. No rhyme or reason to when I get dizzy. I'm a 20 year old female and my dizziness doesn't come with sudden movement or anything. It just happens even if I'm just sitting or standing. My chest hurts a lot, sometimes my heart beats really fast too and I get headaches like every other day or so. I've never been in an accident, so I really don't know what's wrong with me.
