Along with my dizziness, I also have blurred vision, especially when I'm near light. Sometimes, I also feel like I have a fever.

I am a 56-year-old female who gets dizzy spells at odd moments. These spells seem to be connected with the consumption of caffeine and they also occur when I am under stress. I underwent every test available only to be diagnosed with vertigo, which I already knew! I found out that I have recurrent wax build-ups and that I need to have them medically removed. Also, sinus medication does help. So, if you are having recurrent or constant spells, it might very well be your inner ear that is causing you problems.

I am 74 and finally got a diagnosis on my dizziness that I'd had for five weeks. When I lie down, sit up, or turn my head quickly, my head spins. It seems one has crystals in the inner part of the ear and that these crystals can get displaced. From what I understand, it's called “benign paroxysmal positional vertigo”. My ENT (ear, nose, and throat) doctor positions my head different ways for different lengths of time to relocate the crystals. I'm hoping my second treatment goes better than the first.
