What are the possible side effects of calcium and vitamin D combination?

Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.

Less serious side effects may include:

  • an irregular heartbeat;
  • nausea;
  • dry mouth;
  • constipation;
  • weakness;
  • headache;
  • a metallic taste in your mouth;
  • muscle or bone pain; or
  • drowsiness.
