Symptoms of severe hypoglycemia include extreme weakness, blurred vision, sweating, trouble speaking, tremors, stomach pain, confusion, seizure (convulsions), or coma. What should I avoid while using concentrated insulin (Humulin R (Concentrated))?Avoid drinking alcohol while using concentrated insulin. Alcohol can lower your blood sugar. What other drugs will affect concentrated insulin (Humulin R (Concentrated))?Do not use any other insulins or diabetes medications you take by mouth, unless your doctor tells you to.
