My 10 year old son was pillow fighting w/ my 2 year old son, who was injured in his left eye. He went to the ER, and they gave him medicine for an infection, and said "the cornea wasn't scratched."

My wife could not remember if she had removed her contact lenses the previous night and when she tried to remove the perceived lens, she instead tore off a piece of her eye covering causing pain, redness, and a yellow bubble.
