I am a teacher in South Korea. I went on a trip with my school, the dinner was raw fish. I didn't want to eat it as it doesn't appeal to me, but I ate a few pieces out of politeness. The next day I woke up feeling nauseated and weak. I went to school anyway and had some breakfast. Still felt odd. Went at lunch and was violently ill, so I called and said I couldn't go back to work. I spent the rest of the day lying on the couch shivering and going to the bathroom to get sick. Luckily my Korean friend came over with medicine because I wasn't even able to walk up the road a few metres to the shop. I am feeling a bit better today, but my back hurts and I don't feel like eating much. Another teacher who went on the trip is also sick. I will never eat raw fish again.

My boyfriend ate crab legs after they sat out all night and thawed... He boiled them this morning and has been sick ever since. His fever is increasing and has been in bed all day. I also believe they were in the freezer too long before he decided to eat them. Buy seafood and prepare to eat it within a couple days. Hope he gets better soon and we don't have to take him to the emergency room!!!

My 5 kids ate hot dogs that I had purchased at a Wal-Mart, 5 nights ago. The next morning they were all throwing up at the same time, yellow watery stool, and severe stomach pains. By that night they woke up wanting to eat, so I gave them toast. The next morning all was fine. Last night, 4 nights later 2 of the kids started complaining of stomach pain and of course threw up again. They are still having trouble today. As of so far me and my husband have not been affected yet, but we did not eat the hot dogs.

Went out to eat and I had chicken dumpling. After getting home about an hour later my stomach started hurting and so did my granddaughter's. We then starting vomiting violently and then had diarrhea. We had chills but no fever. I have been sick for 2days and still can't eat. I'm just sipping on Sprite and I have had a few crackers, but my stomach is cramping and my insides feel so sore.

About an hour after I ate some left-over Chinese food, I felt a little off. (I was fine the first night I ate it.) Felt stomach pressure so I thought I was constipated, tried going a couple of times & nothing. Then I felt light-headed and suddenly threw up, BIGTIME. Felt a bit better, but vomited again a couple of hrs later. Over the next few hrs I was chilled to the bone, weak, abdominal cramps, VERY achy all over, couldn't stand up for more than 30 seconds w/o feeling faint. I had no fever, though. It took me hours to finish a banana, but I made myself, thinking I needed some nutrition. Barely managed to go from the couch to the bed & tried to sleep. A couple of hrs later the cramping became worse + lower back pain. I almost fainted on my way to the bathroom, but made it - had diarrhea. Made it back to bed panting, sweaty, dizzy. My husband was kind enough to stay home from work the next day; I was afraid of fainting. I mostly slept & ate a little bit: applesauce, saltines, banana, soup. It's been about 36 hours & I feel much better, but still a bit off, but I'm on the mend.

I am 63 years old and in excellent health. I ate shrimp and broccoli at a Chinese/Japanese restaurant and within two hours experienced vomiting and severe diarrhea. These symptoms lasted for about 8 hours. I didn't know whether this was food poisoning or a virus. Felt better the next day, but on the third day, I actually felt much weaker. Am now eating applesauce, plain bread and sipping ginger ale. Still have some diarrhea, but feel a little stronger. I never had a fever.

I ate hospital pork pie off a salad for supper and then 15 minutes later, I had a crippling abdominal pain followed by projectile vomiting diarrhea, dizziness, sweating and shaking.

My husband and I ate Chinese food last Wednesday night and the following morning became violently ill... He had severe vomiting and diarrhea and I had diarrhea. I cannot vomit due to a nissan fundolplication surgery I had in 2008. I still feel very ill, nauseous, and no food or drink tastes good to me. I also have pressure in my chest and my stomach is very very sore. I was running a fever of 100.2 and it is now 99. I normally have a temp of 97 or below so that is unusual for me. What can I do for help? My husband is feeling a bit better. My other family members did not eat this food so they did not get sick. I am worried about how I feel. My husband will be taking me to urgent care tomorrow if I am not better.
