I ate chicken and gravy at work around 1:45pm. I immediately had a stomach upset and it got worse through the evening with a headache. Around 7-8pm I was so sick to my stomach, I couldn't stand it. I was dizzy, and extremely hot. My husband said I fainted. My eyes rolled back in my head and my fists were clenched. He got me to wake up and I totally freaked out...was very disoriented. I didn't know where I was or what was happening to me. I finally vomited and had liquid diarrhea...that was coming out at the same time. The next day I was dizzy, light-headed, sick to my stomach and headachy the entire day. I had to stay in bed and missed work.

Vomiting, diarrhea, headache, chills, fever, sore lower back, churning stomach were all of my symptoms. This started on Tuesday and lasted for the next two days. For the next 48 hours, I just slept. Five days later, I've still got watery stool. I purchased some turkey slices at a deli I never shop at, and some 12 hours later, I woke up vomiting. My kids and husband were all fine, so that's how I knew it was the deli.

Me, my husband and another couple ate at the Lonestar Steakhouse in Dundee, Michigan. I was the only one in the group that became deathly ill (the difference was I had thousand island dressing and chopped sirloin). Within 45 minutes of arriving home I had diarrhea, vomiting and chills. Soon after, I had abdominal cramping. Four hours later I was in the emergency room because my stool became nothing but blood. I was given an IV and medication to ease the diarrhea and vomiting. Then was sent home and took the next day off work. It has been a little over two months and my white blood count is still high. When I contacted Lonestar Steakhouse they would do nothing since they had no other complaints.

I had potato bacon soup with 1/2 a turkey sandwich for lunch. (The sandwich only had mayo, 1 slice of Swiss, and 1 slice of cheddar cheese. Within 30 minutes my stomach started hurting and I felt horrible. I finished my shift and came home and it got worse. From the time it started to the time I got a fever with chills and threw up was 4 1/2 hours. After I got sick my fever went to 102.7 and I was exhausted and slept for awhile. I would wake up and drink something and fall back asleep. I am still running a low grade fever with acetaminophen. It was 101.8 during the night now it is 100.6. I kept everything down that I have drank so I figured since it all started right after lunch, it had to be my lunch.

We ordered take-out from a Chinese restaurant in New Hope, PA. I had the eggplant with garlic and brown rice; he had a vegetable and scallop dish. Both of us felt a little odd afterward but only I really got affected: an odd headache in the middle of the night, followed by nausea but no vomiting and all day watery diarrhea. I slept and slept. I have had two doses of Pepto Bismol, and some cinnamon toast and tea. The little bit of food seem to provoke another bout of diarrhea.

I don't know what caused it. I just know I spent 9 hours vomiting and with diarrhea at the same time. When there wasn't anything left in my stomach to expel, and it became dry heaves for several hours. This was accompanied by a mild temp of 99.6 and a great deal of pain in the hip joints. It came on very quickly, I was fine at 11pm and I was throwing up at 11:30pm.

My roommate and I went to lunch with friends, she had a seafood-egg dish and rest of us had burgers. About 20 minutes after eating, she began having "cramps”. Later that night, she suddenly became light-headed and vomited. After emptying her stomach, she also vomited a small amount of bile.

I had a beef sandwich from a fast food place. I took a nap about an hour after eating. When I got up, I felt strange. The next thing I remember, I was on the floor at the foot of the bed. I have no idea how long I was out. I had diarrhea and I vomited a few times. I went to the doctor, who said I was fine. He checked my heart and said that everything was normal.

I purchased some Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches from a convenience store yesterday and apparently they were not stored at the proper temperature as I experienced the whole nausea, cramping and diarrhea that lasted several hours into the night. In the aftermath I believe I was suffering from food poisoning.
