Foreskin Problems: Two conditions commonly occur with the foreskin of the penis of an uncircumcised or improperly circumcised boy or man, phimosis and paraphimosis. Causes of phimosis include infection, poor hygiene, and foreskin injury. Symptoms of phimosis include difficulty urinating, pain with urination, blood in the urine, or penile pain. Symptoms of paraphimosis include penile pain and penile discoloration. Treatment of foreskin problems depend on the cause.
