My gangrene resulted in the amputation of right leg first, 6 years ago, and left leg this year. Both legs had multiple complications. The leg on the left had to have a vacuum pump on for over six months, and the right leg had MRSA to contend with (my entire body shut down). Very long recoveries but I'm a fighter and won't let it get me down.
