I'm suffering from an umbilical hernia. It's not very painful but my abdomen has increased in size.

I was just diagnosed with an inguinal hernia. I had been feeling some pain/tenderness in and above groin area. It felt like hair being pulled out by the roots. Also, my belly was swelling, and feeling tight. I had some diarrhea and a feeling of my testicles being sat upon. Also, when coughing, I felt pain more severely.

While playing basketball, I jumped up and felt a little pain below my navel. Then I sat down for a little rest, I got up and felt pain again in the same spot but also to the left when I tried to lift my leg, I could not run or bend down without some sort of pain, when I got home I showered and slept for the night, the next day I could not lift my left leg, pain was all over the left side and the lower part of my navel and a little swelling around that area.

I had been doing a lot of heavy physical work, and felt like a muscle tore in my abdominal cavity, left of my navel and down a couple of inches. there was a burning sensation when the area was touched, thus thinking it was a torn muscle, was not painful when laying down even when hand pressure was applied. Only upon standing up was pain increased with any straining. However, later I noticed a little pouching area where "the burn" was. At first hard to see due to excess belly fat, thus leading to a self diagnoses of a spigelian hernia, however this has not been confirmed by a physician, will make an appointment soon!
