I had a laparoscopy for 2nd look surgery, after surgery for ovarian cancer and chemotherapy. The surgeon was different from the original surgery for the cancer. Since she hadn't done the 1st surgery and the CA125 numbers hadn't gone down with chemotherapy, she wanted to see what was happening. The 1st doctor hadn't removed the omentum, which he should have done. It was full of cancer. The removal of the omentum resolved that issue. I did develop C. difficile and returned to the hospital for a week of IV antibiotics. Now cured.
