Larch Arabinogalactan

How does Larch Arabinogalactan work?

Larch arabinogalactan is a fibrous product. It might increase gut bacteria, such as Lactobacillus, and have other effects that could be beneficial to digestive tract health. There is also information that suggests larch arabinogalactan might stimulate the immune system and help prevent cancer cells in the liver from growing.

Are there safety concerns?

Larch arabinogalactan is possibly safe when used short-term and appropriately. It can cause side effects such as bloating and intestinal gas (flatulence).

Do not use larch arabinogalactan if:
  • You are pregnant or breast-feeding.
  • You are a recipient of an organ transplant. Larch arabinogalactan might increase the risk of organ transplant rejection.
  • You have an immune system disorder such as multiple sclerosis (MS), lupus (systemic lupus erythematosus, SLE), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), or other immune system conditions called "autoimmune disease."
