Low Blood Pressure (cont.)

Allergic Reactions

Major allergic reactions (anaphylactic shock) can cause marked dilation of blood vessels and low blood pressure, associated with:

  • shortness of breath,

  • wheezing,

  • difficulty swallowing,

  • skin redness, and

  • hives.
