Miscarriage Outlook

More than half of women who bleed during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy stop bleeding and end up having a normal baby. The others get more cramping and bleeding and eventually miscarry. Although emotionally unsettling, most women physically handle spontaneous abortions well. A woman may not know whether she are going to miscarry when she leaves the emergency department.
