After nine years with Parkinson's disease, my husband now has dementia. He is on dementia medication which causes insomnia. So if he doesn't sleep I don't sleep. He hallucinates most of the time and the dementia doctor blames the Parkinson's drugs. Our GP blames the insomnia on the dementia drugs. We have tried sleeping pills but these made home more vague and unsteady throughout the night. All I want is a night's sleep and to have him free of delusions.
