My husband has Parkinson's dementia for about 5 years. He has difficulty finishing sentences, remembering what he ate for lunch, his balance in walking is difficult, and he falls sometimes. I catch him as he is off balance. His bladder is not working so he has a catheter all the time; they say because of Parkinson's the muscle of the bladder is declining. His bowels work sometimes, and now he is having difficulty swallowing. He has been placed in home hospice. I take care of him at home. He is starting to decline faster now we are into our journey and going forward.
