WARNING: Also see Overdose section. Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under 6 years of age. Keep this product out of reach of children. If an accidental overdose occurs, seek immediate medical attention or call your local poison control center.

USES: Vitamins, minerals and fatty acids are the building blocks of the body. They are used to prevent or treat a lack of these building blocks before, during and after pregnancy, and while breast-feeding.

HOW TO USE: Take as directed. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products. However, some vitamin products may be best taken with food. Consult your pharmacist. Do not exceed recommended dosage.

SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

PRECAUTIONS: Before taking this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or if you have any other allergies. Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.g., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency).

DRUG INTERACTIONS: Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription/herbal products you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.

OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. US residents can call the US national poison hotline at 1-800-222-1222. Canadian residents should call their local poison control center directly. Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, easy bleeding/bruising, severe nausea/vomiting, or green diarrhea/black stools.
