Sarsaparilla

How does Sarsaparilla work?

Sarsaparilla can help decrease joint pain and itching, and can also reduce bacteria.

Are there safety concerns?

Sarsaparilla seems safe for most people when used as a medicine. It might cause stomach irritation. High amounts can lead to kidney problems. Exposure to root dust can cause a runny nose and asthma symptoms.

Do not take sarsaparilla if:
  • You are pregnant or breast-feeding.
  • You have asthma.
  • You have kidney problems.
