CT Angiography

CT angiography is a test that can show if coronary arteries are becoming narrow from coronary artery disease. It can also show calcium buildup in the plaque lining the walls of the coronary arteries.

The test uses a special dye that is put into a vein (IV) to make very detailed pictures of the heart arteries.
