Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA)


The recommended dietary allowances (RDAs) are nutritional guidelines established and periodically reviewed by the United States government's Food and Nutrition Board (part of the National Academy of Sciences). These recommendations suggest a healthy range for daily intake of selected nutrients, calories, protein, and several vitamins and minerals.
