Trabecular MeshworkThe trabecular meshwork is a group of tiny canals through which most of the fluid in the eye drains. The fluid flows from the meshwork into the bloodstream through a small structure called Schlemm's canal. The trabecular meshwork is part of the drainage angle of the eye. This system is located between the clear covering of the eye, called the cornea, and the colored part of the eye, called the iris. It drains at the point where the iris meets the white outer covering of the eye, called the sclera.
