Problem-Solving TherapyProblem-solving therapy is a brief, focused form of cognitive therapy that is often used to treat symptoms of depression. It focuses on the problems a person is currently facing and on helping to find solutions to those problems. Problem-solving therapy can be conducted by a health professional, such as a nurse educated in this form of treatment, and is often less expensive than other forms of counseling.
