Inflatable Pessary

Picture of the position of inflatable pessary

A vaginal pessary is a removable device placed into the vagina. An inflatable pessary is designed to support areas of pelvic organ prolapse, particularly uterine prolapse. Inflatable pessaries are especially helpful in cases of uterine prolapse accompanied by prolapse of other organs, including the bladder, rectum, small bowel, and vaginal vault.
