Definition of Parainfluenza
Parainfluenza: A disease due to an acute respiratory infection caused by a parainfluenza virus. Parainfluenza usually occurs in children. The clinical picture can range from a relatively mild influenza-like illness to bronchitis, croup, and pneumonia.Source: MedTerms™ Medical Dictionary
