Definition of Antitoxin
Antitoxin: An antibody produced in response to and capable of neutralizing a specific biologic toxin such as those that cause diphtheria, gas gangrene, or tetanus. Antitoxins are used prophylactically and therapeutically.Source: MedTerms™ Medical Dictionary
