Salubrious: Good for the health. Healthy. Promoting health or well-being. Wholesome. For example, smog is far from salubrious.

From the Latin salubris, from salus (health), ultimately from Indo-European root sol- (whole), the source also of the word salutary to which salubrious is closely related in meaning.
