Definition of Deuterium
Deuterium: A non-radioactive isotope of hydrogen that contains a neutron in its nucleus in addition to the one proton normally seen in hydrogen. A deuterium atom is twice as heavy as normal hydrogen.Source: MedTerms™ Medical Dictionary
