Definition of DNA polymerase
DNA polymerase: An enzyme that catalyzes (speeds) the polymerization of DNA. DNA polymerase uses preexisting nucleic acid templates and assembles the DNA from deoxyribonucleotides.Source: MedTerms™ Medical Dictionary
