Definition of Resting phaseResting phase: More appropriately called interphase. It is the time when DNA is replicated in the cell nucleus. Source: MedTerms™ Medical Dictionaryhttp://www.medterms.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=5334 Last Editorial Review: 4/27/2011 5:27:15 PM
