Definition of Meconium ileus
Meconium ileus: Obstruction of the intestine (ileus) due to overly thick meconium. Meconium ileus results from a deficiency of trypsin and other digestive enzymes from the pancreas, as in cystic fibrosis.Source: MedTerms™ Medical Dictionary
