Definition of Infant, small for gestational age

Infant, small for gestational age: Small for gestational age (SGA) is a term used to describe a baby who is smaller than the amount a baby typically weighs at her stage of development. Small for gestational age babies usually have birth weights below the tenth percentile for babies of the same gestational age.
