Definition of Cardioversion
Cardioversion: The conversion of a cardiac rhythm or electrical pattern to another, generally from an abnormal one to a normal one. Cardioversion can be accomplished by using medications or by electrical shock with a special defibrillator.Source: MedTerms™ Medical Dictionary
