HAROLD H. HARSCH, M.D.

Harold H. Harsch, M.D., is currently an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). He also holds a joint appointment in the Department of Medicine. Dr. Harsch is the Medical Director for Geriatric Psychiatry at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital and is teaching faculty for the MCW Inpatient Services. Dr Harsch has been involved in over 75 clinical trials of new drug development. He is, or has been a consultant or on the national speakers faculty of most major pharmaceutical companies. He currently teaches Advanced Psychopharmacology to psychiatric residents at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He has given over 150 invited lectures during his tenure at the Medical College. Dr. Harsch's current research interest continues to involve the testing of new psychoactive compounds for psychiatric disorders.

Dr. Harsch attended medical school at the Medical College of Wisconsin and did his psychiatric training and behavioral medicine fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center in California. Dr. Harsch is board certified in adult psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry and psychosomatic medicine.
