Dr. Mersch received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego, and prior to entering the University of Southern California School of Medicine, was a graduate student (attaining PhD candidate status) in Experimental Pathology at USC. Enjoying clinical pediatrics more than research, he attended internship and residency at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. While at CHLA, he twice received the Frances Nunnally Winzer Award and was asked to remain as Chief Resident in Pediatrics at the completion of his training. He is a member of an active pediatric practice in Orange County, California. In addition, he has served on various committees at both Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center and Saddleback Memorial Medical Center. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and has a special interest in sports medicine. Google Profile |
