My dad’s Parkinson’s has progressed to the point of not able to express himself and make sound decisions. He doesn't have the severe tremors like others, but he has very limited mobility and difficulty balancing while standing. He also hallucinates. It’s hard to see him go through this, but I’m grateful for every day I get to spend with him..

After nine years with Parkinson's disease, my husband now has dementia. He is on dementia medication which causes insomnia. So if he doesn't sleep I don't sleep. He hallucinates most of the time and the dementia doctor blames the Parkinson's drugs. Our GP blames the insomnia on the dementia drugs. We have tried sleeping pills but these made home more vague and unsteady throughout the night. All I want is a night's sleep and to have him free of delusions. .
