Hello, I'm Mary. I'm so grateful for all of you that have posted on this subject. In my situation, I fell backwards from climbing on top of the counter to reach for something, lost my grip and hit the floor right on my tailbone. I waited a few minutes before I managed to get up because I was afraid I had broken my back. Throughout the week I had no pain, but while sitting on the carpet to color my toe nails, I experienced pain that has been lingering! What has helped to ease the pain is Tramadol tablets, 50 mg. I pray this is temporary. I pray y'all get some relieve or get well soon..

I fell, broke and slightly displaced my tailbone. Although the tailbone pain continues, my most dramatic and relentless pain is between my legs. It feels as if someone has kicked me between my legs. The pain is constant and relentless. .
