I had a perforated bowel that happened, the doctors think, because a blood clot burst and caused a hole in my bowel. Part of my bowel was ischemic and had to be removed. I had had pain in my liver and back for some time for which they ran a dye through me and found I had 3 venous clots in my liver. I am now on rivaroxaban for the rest of my life. They don't know what is causing my clots..

I experienced heavy continuous bleeding after my monthly periods. It lasted for about 18 days. Clots of blood would just keep dropping out. It was quite scary. The scan result showed sub-mucuosal fibroid.
